COVID-19 Updates for April 10, 2020

 

  • Enforcement: If you have employees who are currently working outside of the home, read DOSH Directive 1.70. This enforcement policy for social distancing in the workplace was released on Tuesday, April 7.

 

 

  • Premiums: In a small bit of good news for employers, L&I is offering 90-day deferred payments or interest-free payment plans for workers’ comp premiums. As part of the agreement, businesses must file their quarterly report on time, which is no later than April 30, 2020. To be eligible for pandemic-related assistance, employers must contact their L&I account manager at 360-902-4817 by April 30, if they know they will be unable to make their quarterly payment.
